As the first solo exhibition outside Japan, MAS – PROJECT HINOKI – will showcase new items from MAS along with prototypes currently in development by the brand director, Wataru Kumano, and with the recently joined designers Ville Kokkonen and Daniel Rybakken. Curated by designer Ville Kokkonen, the research project in the exhibition focuses on Japanese coniferous woods, which constitutes MAS’s brand origin. The exhibition expresses the concept created from materials and conveys the MAS’s brand perspectives
